Sparkle, sweet girl. Yesterday, Kinsley received her new fun eye! She designed it and...
A few days after Kinsley was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, while our heads were still spinning and we were in a very dark place, God placed someone in my life - Sloane’s mommy. She had just walked a similar road with Sloane having retinoblastoma in both eyes. Sloane had already had one eye enucleated and had undergone chemo. Her remaining eye was stable with no signs of tumor growth. Sloane’s mommy was there to talk me off the ledge whenever I felt like I could crack.
About a month ago, Sloane went for a check up only to find out that her remaining eye had a new tumor. As you can imagine, this was devastating to her family and her supporters. However, we have no doubt that Sloane is going to rock it just like she did last time.
Kinsley and all her Cookie Crusaders stand firm and want Sloane to know that “Eye Fight for Sloane.” We love you and are here for you! Please hit the love button to show Sloane and her family how many people are standing behind her and praying for her!
I know what you are thinking. It’s not fair. No, it’s not fair! Sweet little children should NOT have to be put through such a nightmare. It’s also NOT fair that ONLY 4 percent of government cancer funding goes to pediatrics.
While I know everyone enjoys seeing Kinsley support little warriors and raise funding for pediatric cancer research, we can only do that with the support of all of you.
