Sparkle, sweet girl. Yesterday, Kinsley received her new fun eye! She designed it and...
Last week when Kinsley was gifting an iPad to a little warrior at the hospital, we noticed her sister sitting in the background quietly watching. I went over and sat and had a sweet conversation with her, asking if she had an iPad. She bashfully told me no. As our conversation progressed, I was able to obtain her home address by asking if I could send her a book. You see, cancer affects the entire family - not just the child fighting it. Sometimes siblings feel left out as the child fighting receives a large amount of attention. Siblings are often left with family members or have to spend days in the hospital, as well. Siblings play a major role in the support of their sweet brother or sister. This evening, Kinsley shipped an iPad to this little girl who believes she will be receiving a book. We hope this makes her feel special, loved and reminds her how important her support is for her sister.
