Today we made a trip down to Miami to have Kinsley’s prosthetic eye adjusted. As she grows, this will have to be done every few months.
On the way down, we learned of a child at Kinsley’s treating hospital with no parents, no clothes except what he came in with, and lacking many of the things we all take for granted. We weren’t planning on making any stops or deliveries today. But we just could not get this teenage boy off our minds. My heart ached for him.
Because of the generosity of our donors, we were able to provide for this boy who not only is in the hospital but is doing so without many of the essentials we all have. We didn’t gift an iPad or blanket, but rather socks, underwear, clothes and a backpack. Thank you Cookie Crusaders for your contributions.
If you are at all spiritual, please say a prayer for him and keep him in your thoughts. If you would like to make a donation, we plan on helping him further as we find out more on his specific needs.
