I share this because many of you see the monetary accomplishments and accolades that she has achieved through her Cookie Cart efforts. But today I wanted to highlight what she has truly achieved. The awareness she is bringing to childhood cancer is our ultimate goal. The things that these little sweeties have to overcome is what we want you to think about. One year ago our sweetie rocked a single eye and a bald head with the confidence of a superstar. She has taught us so many things about what is truly important in life. We hope that she inspires you to live each day to its fullest, to face your fears with courage and confidence, and to understand that giving isn’t necessarily just about a donation but everything about truly caring, acting on it and making a difference.

Kinsley approved us to post this picture. She is extremely proud of her prosthetic eye and has often asked if she can take it out for “show and tell.”
I’ll never forget the day this picture was taken as her oncologist shared with us her pathology results from her removed eye - that it had NOT spread outside the eye. Every chance I get, I will praise the Lord for all He has done for us. However, not every parent gets positive news and we will continue to do everything we can to bring awareness for these little warriors.
